Message from Principal Mills
November 25, 2020
As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to express how grateful I am for your continued effort to make this school year the best it can be in spite of the numerous challenges that keep coming our way. I am also grateful to our wonderful staff who are working tirelessly to educate and support our students.
We do not know when schools will reopen for in-person learning. It seems this closure will stay in effect until further notice from the DOE. The Mayor has indicated publicly that he is going to focus on bringing back District 75 schools first, then 3K and Pre-K, followed by elementary schools. MS 442 students will continue to use the Switchboard daily to access their virtual class schedule at 8:30 a.m.
We will continue to assess the needs for our school community as this closure might stretch on for weeks. We will be sure to update you via email as well as on our website.
I wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving.
