Summer Reading Guide
As we work together to support all students in becoming strong readers, families can play an especially key role during the summer months in supporting their child’s continued literacy development at home.
This Summer Reading Guide provides K - 12 families with tips, book recommendations, resources, and activities to support their children in building their literacy skills.
In addition, all NYC Public School students can access the Citywide Digital Library on Sora all summer long 24/7 and add their public library cards to expand access to eBooks and audiobooks.
NYCPS Summer Meals
New York City’s FREE Summer Meals program to encourage students to stay active and eat healthy kicks off on June 28th, and continues throughout the summer.
